Envious

Hey. Here's the thing, most beer does not actually age well in much the same way that a wine would. So beers have expiration dates and as expected their quality will decrease over time. So the two beers that I have been saving since before the holidays will not last for months as I would like them to. In case you're wondering there is a Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale and a Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. I want to save them to drink on a nice warm summers day, but I feel that if I wait too long they will disappoint me with the diminished quality.

Really the whole point of that conversation was for me to be able to lead into this next sentence. Me and my buddy brewed some beer over the summer and I still have about twelve left. This is the third batch we've made and while it was not incredible, it was the best one yet. Now I'm sure there are two burning questions that are now swimming around in your head. "What kind of beer was it that you made and what would you guys call your brewery if you were to be successful in brewing beer and made a business out of it?" Well, I am gonna answer both of those questions for you very quickly because this blog post has already gone on far too long. It was an American Ale and the brewery would be called eNVy. Get it? No, of course you don't. And that's because you don't know my friends name. OK, I'll explain it. His name starts with "N" and my name starts with "V" (obviously).
