Hey. I can't wait for Crank 3 to come out. The first two were great and another could only be better. Unless it's like Goldmember from the Austin Powers series. I really loved the first two but the third one really was lame. Although it did still have a good joke or two. Speaking of good jokes I'm watching Seinfeld and it's pretty hilarious. Four weeks in and I am a quarter the way through the 8th season. Here's to productivity.
So over the weekend me and my lady friend made some beer bread. Basically you pour some beer into pre-made bread mix and then cook it. It was pretty good but the process of making it brought on one little problem. OK, get ready for a pointless story that really doesn't go anywhere. The mix called for 12 ounces of beer. I had some Coors left over from New Years but I really did not want to use it in the bread. I figured that if I got a higher quality beer then the bread could only be of a higher quality as well. Fast forward to a couple hours later when we find ourselves at the Slingerlands Price Chopper. We go to that particular Price Chopper due to it overall higher quality then other area Price Choppers. Anyways, at the supermarket I ran into a little beer called Honkers Island Goose Ale. Oh wait I got that backwards, it's actually Goose Island Honker's Ale. Sorry about the confusion. This particular beer I first had at Beer and Wing Fest at the Times Union Center. This was the first time I have been able to find a six pack of it in stores.
So, we now find ourselves back at my lady friend's apartment. When it comes time to actually make the bread I run into a brick wall. It seems I really do not want to waste a Goose on the bread. After some back and forth I finally decide to use the Coors for the bread, meaning I shouldn't have bought the extra beer in the first place. Once again I have spent money that I really did not need to. One the plus side, I now have a few bottles of the Goose to drink, but at what price does that privilege come at?
